1	“Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.
	Προσέχετε-[-δὲ-]-τὴν-δικαιοσύνην-υμῶν-μὴ-ποιεῖν-έμπροσθεν-τῶν-ανθρώπων-πρὸς-τὸ-θεαθῆναι-αυτοῖς-·-ει-δὲ-μήγε-,-μισθὸν-ουκ-έχετε-παρὰ-τῶ-πατρὶ-υμῶν-τῶ-εν-τοῖς-ουρανοῖς-.-
2	Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
	Όταν-οῦν-ποιῆς-ελεημοσύνην-,-μὴ-σαλπίσης-έμπροσθέν-σου-,-ώσπερ-οι-υποκριταὶ-ποιοῦσιν-εν-ταῖς-συναγωγαῖς-καὶ-εν-ταῖς-ρύμαις-,-όπως-δοξασθῶσιν-υπὸ-τῶν-ανθρώπων-·-αμὴν-λέγω-υμῖν-,-απέχουσιν-τὸν-μισθὸν-αυτῶν-.-
3	But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
	σοῦ-δὲ-ποιοῦντος-ελεημοσύνην-μὴ-γνώτω-η-αριστερά-σου-τί-ποιεῖ-η-δεξιά-σου-,-
4	that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
	όπως-ῆ-σου-η-ελεημοσύνη-εν-τῶ-κρυπτῶ-·-καὶ-ο-πατήρ-σου-ο-βλέπων-εν-τῶ-κρυπτῶ-[-αυτὸς-]-αποδώσει-σοι-.-
5	“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
	Καὶ-όταν-προσεύχησθε-,-ουκ-έσεσθε-ως-οι-υποκριταί-·-ότι-φιλοῦσιν-εν-ταῖς-συναγωγαῖς-καὶ-εν-ταῖς-γωνίαις-τῶν-πλατειῶν-εστῶτες-προσεύχεσθαι-,-όπως-φανῶσιν-τοῖς-ανθρώποις-·-αμὴν-λέγω-υμῖν-,-απέχουσιν-τὸν-μισθὸν-αυτῶν-.-
6	But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
	σὺ-δὲ-όταν-προσεύχη-,-είσελθε-εις-τὸ-ταμεῖόν-σου-καὶ-κλείσας-τὴν-θύραν-σου-πρόσευξαι-τῶ-πατρί-σου-τῶ-εν-τῶ-κρυπτῶ-·-καὶ-ο-πατήρ-σου-ο-βλέπων-εν-τῶ-κρυπτῶ-αποδώσει-σοι-.-
7	And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
	Προσευχόμενοι-δὲ-μὴ-βατταλογήσητε-ώσπερ-οι-εθνικοί-,-δοκοῦσιν-γὰρ-ότι-εν-τῆ-πολυλογία-αυτῶν-εισακουσθήσονται-.-
8	“Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
	μὴ-οῦν-ομοιωθῆτε-αυτοῖς-,-οῖδεν-γὰρ-ο-πατὴρ-υμῶν-ῶν-χρείαν-έχετε-πρὸ-τοῦ-υμᾶς-αιτῆσαι-αυτόν-.-
9	In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
	Ούτως-οῦν-προσεύχεσθε-υμεῖς-·-Πάτερ-ημῶν-ο-εν-τοῖς-ουρανοῖς-,-αγιασθήτω-τὸ-όνομά-σου-,-
10	Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
	ελθέτω-η-βασιλεία-σου-,-γενηθήτω-τὸ-θέλημά-σου-,-ως-εν-ουρανῶ-καὶ-επὶ-γῆς-.-
11	Give us this day our daily bread.
	Τὸν-άρτον-ημῶν-τὸν-επιούσιον-δὸς-ημῖν-σήμερον-·-
12	And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
	καὶ-άφες-ημῖν-τὰ-οφειλήματα-ημῶν-,-ως-καὶ-ημεῖς-αφήκαμεν-τοῖς-οφειλέταις-ημῶν-·-
13	And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
	καὶ-μὴ-εισενέγκης-ημᾶς-εις-πειρασμόν-,-αλλὰ-ρῦσαι-ημᾶς-απὸ-τοῦ-πονηροῦ-.-
14	“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
	Εὰν-γὰρ-αφῆτε-τοῖς-ανθρώποις-τὰ-παραπτώματα-αυτῶν-,-αφήσει-καὶ-υμῖν-ο-πατὴρ-υμῶν-ο-ουράνιος-·-
15	But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
	εὰν-δὲ-μὴ-αφῆτε-τοῖς-ανθρώποις-,-ουδὲ-ο-πατὴρ-υμῶν-αφήσει-τὰ-παραπτώματα-υμῶν-.-
16	“Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
	Όταν-δὲ-νηστεύητε-,-μὴ-γίνεσθε-ως-οι-υποκριταὶ-σκυθρωποί-,-αφανίζουσιν-γὰρ-τὰ-πρόσωπα-αυτῶν-όπως-φανῶσιν-τοῖς-ανθρώποις-νηστεύοντες-·-αμὴν-λέγω-υμῖν-,-απέχουσιν-τὸν-μισθὸν-αυτῶν-.-
17	But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
	σὺ-δὲ-νηστεύων-άλειψαί-σου-τὴν-κεφαλὴν-καὶ-τὸ-πρόσωπόν-σου-νίψαι-,-
18	so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
	όπως-μὴ-φανῆς-τοῖς-ανθρώποις-νηστεύων-αλλὰ-τῶ-πατρί-σου-τῶ-εν-τῶ-κρυφαίω-·-καὶ-ο-πατήρ-σου-ο-βλέπων-εν-τῶ-κρυφαίω-αποδώσει-σοι-.-
19	“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;
	Μὴ-θησαυρίζετε-υμῖν-θησαυροὺς-επὶ-τῆς-γῆς-,-όπου-σὴς-καὶ-βρῶσις-αφανίζει-,-καὶ-όπου-κλέπται-διορύσσουσιν-καὶ-κλέπτουσιν-·-
20	but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
	θησαυρίζετε-δὲ-υμῖν-θησαυροὺς-εν-ουρανῶ-,-όπου-ούτε-σὴς-ούτε-βρῶσις-αφανίζει-,-καὶ-όπου-κλέπται-ου-διορύσσουσιν-ουδὲ-κλέπτουσιν-·-
21	For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
	όπου-γάρ-εστιν-ο-θησαυρός-σου-,-εκεῖ-έσται-καὶ-η-καρδία-σου-.-
22	“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.
	Ο-λύχνος-τοῦ-σώματός-εστιν-ο-οφθαλμός-.-εὰν-οῦν-ῆ-ο-οφθαλμός-σου-απλοῦς-,-όλον-τὸ-σῶμά-σου-φωτεινὸν-έσται-·-
23	But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
	εὰν-δὲ-ο-οφθαλμός-σου-πονηρὸς-ῆ-,-όλον-τὸ-σῶμά-σου-σκοτεινὸν-έσται-.-ει-οῦν-τὸ-φῶς-τὸ-εν-σοὶ-σκότος-εστίν-,-τὸ-σκότος-πόσον-.-
24	“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
	Ουδεὶς-δύναται-δυσὶ-κυρίοις-δουλεύειν-·-ὴ-γὰρ-τὸν-ένα-μισήσει-καὶ-τὸν-έτερον-αγαπήσει-,-ὴ-ενὸς-ανθέξεται-καὶ-τοῦ-ετέρου-καταφρονήσει-·-ου-δύνασθε-θεῶ-δουλεύειν-καὶ-μαμωνᾶ-.-
25	“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
	Διὰ-τοῦτο-λέγω-υμῖν-,-μὴ-μεριμνᾶτε-τῆ-ψυχῆ-υμῶν-τί-φάγητε-[-ὴ-τί-πίητε-],-μηδὲ-τῶ-σώματι-υμῶν-τί-ενδύσησθε-·-ουχὶ-η-ψυχὴ-πλεῖόν-εστιν-τῆς-τροφῆς-καὶ-τὸ-σῶμα-τοῦ-ενδύματος-;-
26	Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
	εμβλέψατε-εις-τὰ-πετεινὰ-τοῦ-ουρανοῦ-ότι-ου-σπείρουσιν-ουδὲ-θερίζουσιν-ουδὲ-συνάγουσιν-εις-αποθήκας-,-καὶ-ο-πατὴρ-υμῶν-ο-ουράνιος-τρέφει-αυτά-·-ουχ-υμεῖς-μᾶλλον-διαφέρετε-αυτῶν-;-
27	Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
	τίς-δὲ-εξ-υμῶν-μεριμνῶν-δύναται-προσθεῖναι-επὶ-τὴν-ηλικίαν-αυτοῦ-πῆχυν-ένα-;-
28	“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;
	καὶ-περὶ-ενδύματος-τί-μεριμνᾶτε-;-καταμάθετε-τὰ-κρίνα-τοῦ-αγροῦ-πῶς-αυξάνουσιν-·-ου-κοπιῶσιν-ουδὲ-νήθουσιν-·-
29	and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
	λέγω-δὲ-υμῖν-ότι-ουδὲ-Σολομὼν-εν-πάση-τῆ-δόξη-αυτοῦ-περιεβάλετο-ως-ὲν-τούτων-.-
30	Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
	ει-δὲ-τὸν-χόρτον-τοῦ-αγροῦ-σήμερον-όντα-καὶ-αύριον-εις-κλίβανον-βαλλόμενον-ο-θεὸς-ούτως-αμφιέννυσιν-,-ου-πολλῶ-μᾶλλον-υμᾶς-,-ολιγόπιστοι-;-
31	“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
	μὴ-οῦν-μεριμνήσητε-λέγοντες-,-Τί-φάγωμεν-;-ή-,-Τί-πίωμεν-;-ή-,-Τί-περιβαλώμεθα-;-
32	For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
	πάντα-γὰρ-ταῦτα-τὰ-έθνη-επιζητοῦσιν-·-οῖδεν-γὰρ-ο-πατὴρ-υμῶν-ο-ουράνιος-ότι-χρήζετε-τούτων-απάντων-.-
33	But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
	ζητεῖτε-δὲ-πρῶτον-τὴν-βασιλείαν-καὶ-τὴν-δικαιοσύνην-αυτοῦ-,-καὶ-ταῦτα-πάντα-προστεθήσεται-υμῖν-.-
34	Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
	μὴ-οῦν-μεριμνήσητε-εις-τὴν-αύριον-,-η-γὰρ-αύριον-μεριμνήσει-αυτῆς-·-αρκετὸν-τῆ-ημέρα-η-κακία-αυτῆς-.-
