1 For behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, Takes away from Jerusalem and from Judah The stock and the store, The whole supply of bread and the whole supply of water;
Ιδοὺ-δὴ-ο-δεσπότης-κύριος-σαβαωθ-αφελεῖ-απὸ-τῆς-Ιουδαίας-καὶ-απὸ-Ιερουσαλημ-ισχύοντα-καὶ-ισχύουσαν-,-ισχὺν-άρτου-καὶ-ισχὺν-ύδατος-,-
2 The mighty man and the man of war, The judge and the prophet, And the diviner and the elder;
γίγαντα-καὶ-ισχύοντα-καὶ-άνθρωπον-πολεμιστὴν-καὶ-δικαστὴν-καὶ-προφήτην-καὶ-στοχαστὴν-καὶ-πρεσβύτερον-
3 The captain of fifty and the honorable man, The counselor and the skillful artisan, And the expert enchanter.
καὶ-πεντηκόνταρχον-καὶ-θαυμαστὸν-σύμβουλον-καὶ-σοφὸν-αρχιτέκτονα-καὶ-συνετὸν-ακροατήν-·-
4 “I will give children to be their princes, And babes shall rule over them.
καὶ-επιστήσω-νεανίσκους-άρχοντας-αυτῶν-,-καὶ-εμπαῖκται-κυριεύσουσιν-αυτῶν-.-
5 The people will be oppressed, Every one by another and every one by his neighbor; The child will be insolent toward the elder, And the base toward the honorable.”
καὶ-συμπεσεῖται-ο-λαός-,-άνθρωπος-πρὸς-άνθρωπον-καὶ-άνθρωπος-πρὸς-τὸν-πλησίον-αυτοῦ-·-προσκόψει-τὸ-παιδίον-πρὸς-τὸν-πρεσβύτην-,-ο-άτιμος-πρὸς-τὸν-έντιμον-.-
6 When a man takes hold of his brother In the house of his father, saying, “You have clothing; You be our ruler, And let these ruins be under your power,”
ότι-επιλήμψεται-άνθρωπος-τοῦ-αδελφοῦ-αυτοῦ-ὴ-τοῦ-οικείου-τοῦ-πατρὸς-αυτοῦ-λέγων-Ιμάτιον-έχεις-,-αρχηγὸς-ημῶν-γενοῦ-,-καὶ-τὸ-βρῶμα-τὸ-εμὸν-υπὸ-σὲ-έστω-.-
7 In that day he will protest, saying, “I cannot cure your ills, For in my house is neither food nor clothing; Do not make me a ruler of the people.”
καὶ-αποκριθεὶς-ερεῖ-εν-τῆ-ημέρα-εκείνη-Ουκ-έσομαί-σου-αρχηγός-·-ου-γὰρ-έστιν-εν-τῶ-οίκω-μου-άρτος-ουδὲ-ιμάτιον-·-ουκ-έσομαι-αρχηγὸς-τοῦ-λαοῦ-τούτου-.-
8 For Jerusalem stumbled, And Judah is fallen, Because their tongue and their doings Are against the LORD, To provoke the eyes of His glory.
ότι-ανεῖται-Ιερουσαλημ-,-καὶ-η-Ιουδαία-συμπέπτωκεν-,-καὶ-αι-γλῶσσαι-αυτῶν-μετὰ-ανομίας-,-τὰ-πρὸς-κύριον-απειθοῦντες-·-διότι-νῦν-εταπεινώθη-η-δόξα-αυτῶν-,-
9 The look on their countenance witnesses against them, And they declare their sin as Sodom; They do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought evil upon themselves.
καὶ-η-αισχύνη-τοῦ-προσώπου-αυτῶν-αντέστη-αυτοῖς-·-τὴν-δὲ-αμαρτίαν-αυτῶν-ως-Σοδομων-ανήγγειλαν-καὶ-ενεφάνισαν-.-ουαὶ-τῆ-ψυχῆ-αυτῶν-,-διότι-βεβούλευνται-βουλὴν-πονηρὰν-καθ᾿-εαυτῶν-
10 “Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, For they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
ειπόντες-Δήσωμεν-τὸν-δίκαιον-,-ότι-δύσχρηστος-ημῖν-εστιν-·-τοίνυν-τὰ-γενήματα-τῶν-έργων-αυτῶν-φάγονται-.-
11 Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, For the reward of his hands shall be given him.
ουαὶ-τῶ-ανόμω-·-πονηρὰ-κατὰ-τὰ-έργα-τῶν-χειρῶν-αυτοῦ-συμβήσεται-αυτῶ-.-
12 As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths.”
λαός-μου-,-οι-πράκτορες-υμῶν-καλαμῶνται-υμᾶς-,-καὶ-οι-απαιτοῦντες-κυριεύουσιν-υμῶν-·-λαός-μου-,-οι-μακαρίζοντες-υμᾶς-πλανῶσιν-υμᾶς-καὶ-τὸν-τρίβον-τῶν-ποδῶν-υμῶν-ταράσσουσιν-.-
13 The LORD stands up to plead, And stands to judge the people.
αλλὰ-νῦν-καταστήσεται-εις-κρίσιν-κύριος-καὶ-στήσει-εις-κρίσιν-τὸν-λαὸν-αυτοῦ-,-
14 The LORD will enter into judgment With the elders of His people And His princes: “For you have eaten up the vineyard; The plunder of the poor is in your houses.
αυτὸς-κύριος-εις-κρίσιν-ήξει-μετὰ-τῶν-πρεσβυτέρων-τοῦ-λαοῦ-καὶ-μετὰ-τῶν-αρχόντων-αυτοῦ-Υμεῖς-δὲ-τί-ενεπυρίσατε-τὸν-αμπελῶνά-μου-καὶ-η-αρπαγὴ-τοῦ-πτωχοῦ-εν-τοῖς-οίκοις-υμῶν-;-
15 What do you mean by crushing My people And grinding the faces of the poor?” Says the Lord GOD of hosts.
τί-υμεῖς-αδικεῖτε-τὸν-λαόν-μου-καὶ-τὸ-πρόσωπον-τῶν-πτωχῶν-καταισχύνετε-;-
16 Moreover the LORD says: “Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, And walk with outstretched necks And wanton eyes, Walking and mincing as they go, Making a jingling with their feet,
Τάδε-λέγει-κύριος-Ανθ-ῶν-υψώθησαν-αι-θυγατέρες-Σιων-καὶ-επορεύθησαν-υψηλῶ-τραχήλω-καὶ-εν-νεύμασιν-οφθαλμῶν-καὶ-τῆ-πορεία-τῶν-ποδῶν-άμα-σύρουσαι-τοὺς-χιτῶνας-καὶ-τοῖς-ποσὶν-άμα-παίζουσαι-,-
17 Therefore the Lord will strike with a scab The crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, And the LORD will uncover their secret parts.”
καὶ-ταπεινώσει-ο-θεὸς-αρχούσας-θυγατέρας-Σιων-,-καὶ-κύριος-αποκαλύψει-τὸ-σχῆμα-αυτῶν-
18 In that day the Lord will take away the finery: The jingling anklets, the scarves, and the crescents;
εν-τῆ-ημέρα-εκείνη-καὶ-αφελεῖ-κύριος-τὴν-δόξαν-τοῦ-ιματισμοῦ-αυτῶν-καὶ-τοὺς-κόσμους-αυτῶν-καὶ-τὰ-εμπλόκια-καὶ-τοὺς-κοσύμβους-καὶ-τοὺς-μηνίσκους-
19 The pendants, the bracelets, and the veils;
καὶ-τὸ-κάθεμα-καὶ-τὸν-κόσμον-τοῦ-προσώπου-αυτῶν-
20 The headdresses, the leg ornaments, and the headbands; The perfume boxes, the charms,
καὶ-τὴν-σύνθεσιν-τοῦ-κόσμου-τῆς-δόξης-καὶ-τοὺς-χλιδῶνας-καὶ-τὰ-ψέλια-καὶ-τὸ-εμπλόκιον-καὶ-τὰ-περιδέξια-καὶ-τοὺς-δακτυλίους-καὶ-τὰ-ενώτια-
21 and the rings; The nose jewels,
καὶ-τὰ-περιπόρφυρα-καὶ-τὰ-μεσοπόρφυρα-
22 the festal apparel, and the mantles; The outer garments, the purses,
καὶ-τὰ-επιβλήματα-τὰ-κατὰ-τὴν-οικίαν-καὶ-τὰ-διαφανῆ-Λακωνικὰ-
23 and the mirrors; The fine linen, the turbans, and the robes.
καὶ-τὰ-βύσσινα-καὶ-τὰ-υακίνθινα-καὶ-τὰ-κόκκινα-καὶ-τὴν-βύσσον-,-σὺν-χρυσίω-καὶ-υακίνθω-συγκαθυφασμένα-καὶ-θέριστρα-κατάκλιτα-.-
24 And so it shall be: Instead of a sweet smell there will be a stench; Instead of a sash, a rope; Instead of well-set hair, baldness; Instead of a rich robe, a girding of sackcloth; And branding instead of beauty.
καὶ-έσται-αντὶ-οσμῆς-ηδείας-κονιορτός-,-καὶ-αντὶ-ζώνης-σχοινίω-ζώση-καὶ-αντὶ-τοῦ-κόσμου-τῆς-κεφαλῆς-τοῦ-χρυσίου-φαλάκρωμα-έξεις-διὰ-τὰ-έργα-σου-καὶ-αντὶ-τοῦ-χιτῶνος-τοῦ-μεσοπορφύρου-περιζώση-σάκκον-.-
25 Your men shall fall by the sword, And your mighty in the war.
καὶ-ο-υιός-σου-ο-κάλλιστος-,-ὸν-αγαπᾶς-,-μαχαίρα-πεσεῖται-,-καὶ-οι-ισχύοντες-υμῶν-μαχαίρα-πεσοῦνται-.-
26 Her gates shall lament and mourn, And she being desolate shall sit on the ground.
καὶ-ταπεινωθήσονται-καὶ-πενθήσουσιν-αι-θῆκαι-τοῦ-κόσμου-υμῶν-,-καὶ-καταλειφθήση-μόνη-καὶ-εις-τὴν-γῆν-εδαφισθήση-.-
