God Is Invisible

“Ever since the creation of the world his eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been understood and seen through the things he has made. So they are without excuse” (Rom. 1:20)

“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation” (Col. 1:15)

“To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen” (1 Tim. 1:17)

“It is he alone who has immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see; to him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen” (1 Tim. 6:16)

“By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible. <...> And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. <...> By faith he left Egypt, unafraid of the king’s anger; for he persevered as though he saw him who is invisible” (Heb. 11:3,6,27)

God Became Visible in His Humanity After the Incarnation

No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father’s heart, who has made him known” (John. 1:18)
