This article shows not only that Jesus Christ is the Savior, but also what kind of Savior He is: that He is the Savior of all. All are called to Christ, but not all are saved.
The Pagan Gods Are Not Gods
There is no other God:
“Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one” (1 Cor. 8:4)
Those whom the pagans served before are not gods:
“But then, indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods” (Gal. 4:8)
False gods:
“Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men with the same nature as you, and preach to you that you should turn from these useless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them” (Act. 14:15)
In the past all nations walked not in God’s ways, but in their own:
“who [God] in bygone generations allowed all nations to walk in their own ways” (Act. 14:16)

Rejecting Christ Is Rejecting God
“he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me” (Luke. 10:16)
“He who hates Me hates My Father also” (John. 15:23)
“Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also” (1 John. 2:23)
“Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son” (2 John. 1:9)
“He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John. 3:36)
Without Faith in Christ It Is Impossible to Be Saved
“by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Act. 4:10-12)
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Heb. 11:6)
Heresy and Separation from the Church Deprive One of Salvation
Those who invent heresies will not inherit the Kingdom of God:
“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions*, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God” (Gal. 5:19-21)
*dissensions (διχοστασίαι) — division, splitting apart; heresies (αἱρέσεις).
Those who create divisions in the Church do not serve the Lord Jesus Christ:
“Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple” (Rom. 16:17-18)
“how they [the apostles] told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions (Greek: ἀποδιορίζοντες — “those who separate”, i.e. who separate themselves from the unity of the faith), not having the Spirit” (Jude. 1:18-19)
The Church is the body of Christ, and Christ is the Savior of the body:
“And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved” (Act. 2:47)
“His body, which is the church” (Col. 1:24)
“Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body” (Eph. 5:23)
All Are Subject to Judgment
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad” (2 Cor. 5:10)
“For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil” (Eccl. 12:14)
Judgment Will Begin with the Church
“For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now ‘If the righteous one is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?’” (1 Pet. 4:17-18)
We All Sin Much
“For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body” (James. 3:2)
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us” (1 John. 1:8,10)
Many Will Be Surprised When They Are Not Saved
They thought they were saved:
“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matt. 7:22-23)
Many Will Not Be Saved
Not All Will Be Saved
“Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able” (Luke. 13:24)
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matt. 7:13-14)
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven” (Matt. 7:21)
“For just as the farmer sows many seeds in the ground and plants a multitude of seedlings, and yet not all that have been sown will come up in due season, and not all that were planted will take root; so also those who have been sown in the world will not all be saved” (2 Esd. 8:41)
Those Who Are Saved Are Few
“Then one said to Him, ‘Lord, are there few who are saved?’ And He said to them, ‘Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able’” (Luke. 13:23-24)
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matt. 7:13-14)
“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke. 12:32)
“He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still. And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work” (Rev. 22:11-12)
